- I keep having to walk in school the distance of Raffles Hall to about 2nd bus stop of Arts in NUS in 10mins to catch the bus or to get to class
- The bus stops are very far apart and the buses take an hour to come so if we miss a stop we have to walk all the way back
- We keep running to catch the bus carrying a few kg (or should we say Pounds) of groceries
Speaking of no.3, we did it AGAIN today! There's roadworks going on along Culver Drive, so some bus stops are either out of service or relocated much further away. When Lois and I belatedly ran out of Albertson's, in the rain mind you, carrying 1 gallon of orange juice and half a gallon of peach juice and 10 Swiss Miss hot chocolate boxes, among other things, we saw the bus coming and ran for it! Not caring that our arms were dropping off and the rain was smacking against our faces.
On the way, the plastic bag carrying the gallon of juice broke!! So I had to stuff the lettuce and a few boxes of Swiss Miss into my A&F bag and plastic bag with my ski clothes and trudge on. All the way home. Poor lettuce.
Thank God the driver waited for us, unlike last week when Amanda, Xian Cong and I had to wait a whole hour at the bus stop cos the driver was mean. Or he didn't see us. Pick one. They had to sit on the ground with the many groceries while I chatted with my Homeland Security classmate who coincidentally had missed the bus too.
The car the others drove to LA, which I returned to the rental company so I could grab some groceries. Dropped Lois off at school, wish I could drive there everyday!
Shopping at Big5 for outdoorsy stuff. Big discounts!
My new ski clothes! So Art Attack-ish right.
My freezer!! I wish. Lots of flavours like Cinnamon Bun and Everything something something can't remember.
THESE are the drawers in my kitchen. 10 for $10!! Swiss Miss! I think we're nuts.
Uploaded the photos for Superbowl and Laundry and CNY party! check previous posts.
